The bonus for the first purchase refers only to the cash offers and packs purchased directly from the game bank, that can be accessed by tapping on the plus sign on the bucks bar.

There are also offers that randomly appear on the screen. Purchasing one of those offers will not grant you the bonus.

The coffee table is a decoration that gives bonuses a limited number of times. You can use the coffee table 7 times and collect 100 energy points each time, for the total of 700 energy points:
