Hi, this is Kate, game designer of SuperCity! Today I want to share with you news about changes in expeditions.

You tell us time and time again how tough it is to finish expeditions. Your thoughtfulness and insightful feedback regarding the game are greatly appreciated! We are already methodically trying to streamline future expeditions based on the plan we devised for changes based on your comments.

We are making every effort because we want our expeditions to be enjoyable for you!

The next expedition starts on September 19. Here are the changes it will have:

Reduced difficulty

Naturally, we began by attempting to make the expedition itself easier. You can now more easily complete quests and earn prizes from the Adventure tab.

For example,

  1. To complete the first 18 story quests and get the first unique expedition reward (Garden with Autumn Tree), you will need 3% less energy than in the previous expedition.

  2. To obtain the first unique building (Magic Greenhouse), you will need 23% less energy.

  3. The total amount of energy required to complete all story missions has been reduced by 10%.

  4. All resource gathering tasks in the Tasks tab will require 5% less energy to complete.

More rewards

Secondly, the amount of rewards for story quest completion in the Adventure tab and the Rewards tab's reward line has been expanded.

  1. The story rewards (Adventure tab) now include 3 objects instead of one. In the next expedition, these will be:

  • decor "Garden with Autumn Tree";

  • building “Magic Greenhouse” (4000 coins, 2-3 energy, 1-2 candies every 24 hours);

  • building "Dryad School" (4500 coins, 2-3 energy, 3-4 candies every 24 hours).

2. In addition to the standard decor, the free rewards for using energy (Rewards tab) include a prize consisting of several items. Thus, in the free reward line, in addition to all other prizes, you can get:

  • decor "Dryad Mystery Flower";

  • beautiful building “Pond with Cranes” + 400 expedition energy + 5 superbucks + gold key (to open a chest with gold tools).

Of course, we still have a lot of work to do to find the perfect balance between difficulty and rewards in expeditions, so we're looking forward to your feedback!
