Penguin Islands: ice and sea, bizarre rocks, snow-covered beaches… This kingdom belongs to penguins and seals, people are just guests there. But sometimes some of the guests forget about the rules of decency. And even if they have no evil intentions, the consequences can be catastrophic.

Well, well, what do we have here? Microcircuit #53! Excellent, excellent! — The Professor inserted the microcircuit into the mysterious mechanism standing in the middle of the research station and rubbed his hands contentedly.

The mechanism hummed and blinked with red lights. From the outside it seemed that it was dissatisfied with something.

— Are you sure everything will go as it should? — asked the young scientist. He respected the Professor, but he could not understand what was more in him — brilliance or madness.

— Oh, young man, don't worry. Science favours the brave! Just a little bit more and I'll find a way to control the weather on the Penguin Islands!

The Professor took a wrench and hit the mechanism with all his might. The mechanism creaked pitifully, and the colour of the lights changed from red to green.

There you go! — smiled the Professor. — Any technique just needs the right approach! Now let's set the temperature. First, let's lower it by one degree.

The Professor pressed a button on the mechanism panel, and the “-15” on the display changed to “-16”.

Did it really work, Professor?! — exclaimed the young scientist. — You are indeed a genius!

— I know, — the Professor answered modestly, — and now let’s go outside and measure the temperature.

As soon as the Professor and the young scientist left the room, the mechanism began to flash with red lights and smoke. The numbers on the display started changing.

-17, -21, -29.

At -35, the Professor flew into the room. He grabbed the wrench again and hit the mechanism. The infernal machine released a sheaf of sparks, made a vengeful squeak and switched off.

— Oh no! — exclaimed the Professor. — I broke the weather...

And he was right. An unprecedented snowstorm began on the Penguin Islands. The penguins and seals were no strangers to harsh climates, but they had never seen a storm like this. And they had never experienced such a cold. Unfortunately, some penguin families were about to hatch chicks. And now the worried parents could only cuddle up to the egg to keep it warm. The fish had swum away from the cold waters, and some of the penguins and seals got exhausted and sick from hunger.

The Professor managed to fix the weather mechanism at the research station but he can't get to the weather installations to fix them as well because of the snowdrifts. All he can do is wait for help.

Luckily, brave Amelia has received his signal and is ready to set out. But she can't do it without you, Mayor. Join her snowy adventure and save the Penguin Islands in the upcoming expedition!
