Adrianna Wahl asks:
From what I read, it sounded like there was going to be a calendar quest every month now. Is that correct? Thanks again.
Alex answers:
The calendar quest will now take place once every three months. The next one will be in March, and the following one in June.
Margaret Scherbatova asks:
Will the new event schedule be published in advance on the official page?
Alex answers:
We publish the schedule two weeks in advance on our social media pages. However, given the changes in the calendar and the fixed schedule, we are considering changing our approach and publishing the schedule monthly or weekly. We are very interested to hear your thoughts on this. Let us know in the comments!
Jorgelina Castro asks:
When you have less time will you ask for fewer items?
Alex answers:
Yes. As you may have noticed, we have reduced the prices in the Basement shop and shortened the line in the train quest. Now, to complete it, the player will need less effort than before. Such changes will be applied to other events as well.
Tanya Moss Kerrison asks:
Please can we have longer break in between quests 1 day is not enough ..we have housework & life stuff to do after being held at the computer non stop 16hrs a day during quests. A mini event where we can gift neighbours buildings & resources. And also a quest we had a long time ago that gave you opportunity to complete a set of tasks to get certain buildings would be great fill ins.
Alex answers:
Yes, we understand how important it is to maintain a balance between the game and other activities, so we try to make the game rhythm comfortable. Not only did we add a day without events, but we also make sure that they do not start immediately after each other (for example, if a cellar quest ends, an expedition does not start on the same day). Now, if possible, we will spread them out over different days.
Thanks for the suggestion about quests for obtaining buildings! Great idea - we will take it into work.
RoZenn Robin-Perrin asks:
If it's complicated to adjust to the different months, why not simply plan 28 days each month? I think some of this would make that, depending on months, there would be 2 or 3 days dedicated to cities except in February (except leap year).
What activities would be cut short? All of them ? Or just a few? There are activities that are highly expected by players and others that are more secondary and they don't all deserve the same treatment. Players appreciated that some quests were extended. If the quests are shortened, how will the quantities requested be adapted?
Alex answers:
All quest events — Cellar, Expedition, and Archaeological Expedition — will be shorter. This means that fewer stages will be required to obtain the reward, or the prices in stores will be reduced. However, the rewards themselves will remain unchanged. As for the 28-day calendar, this issue requires a special approach. We cannot shorten events to 2-3 days, since in this case, players who missed the start will not be able to fully participate. Our goal is to maintain a balance between the duration of the events and the availability of game content for everyone.
Julia V. asks:
If all the quests are planned to be somehow squeezed into 1 month, then there will be a calendar every month? And this is not the easiest quest, and doing it every month is not much fun... Therefore, my wish is that I would like to see it at least once every 3 months, but not every! After all, this is a very big burden on the players, even if you shorten it in time! The planned changes to this calendar of events say that we will complete all the quests every time in 1 month. So I wanted to clarify, since there are all the quests, then the Calendar quest will also be every month?
Alex answers:
Going forward, the monthly schedule will look something like this:
- Basement
- Expedition
- Day without events
- One of the quest events
- Archaeological Expedition
Since we have several types of quest events (Calendar, Train, City Fair), they will alternate from month to month to provide variety in the gameplay.
Alla asks:
I think that one day between activities is not enough. I can't start construction on locations to get a permanent building. There are also timers and 20 stages. And when something club-related is launched, there is no time for construction at all.
Alex answers:
We understand how important it is to maintain a balance between the game and other activities at a comfortable pace. That's why we've taken care not only to add a day without events, but also to ensure that events don't start immediately after each other's end (for example, so that the Expedition doesn't start on the same day that the Cellar ends). We'll try to space out events so that they don't overlap, ensuring comfortable participation for all players.
Nina Divertida asks:
Can you get rid of all the little workshops? Or at least significantly reduce the amount of resources it takes to make one item. It is very tedious. Especially as you near the end and there are ridiculous amounts of things needed like 42 of each thing. It is completely discouraging to get those high numbers anywhere in the expedition, but especially when you are almost finished.
Ann answers:
As expeditions evolve, their stories become more intense, and the variety of interactions with the event map helps reflect this dynamic. We want to make each story engaging and believable, so it makes sense that animal feed is made in the field kitchen and tools in the workshop.
As for the increase in the difficulty of crafting items, it reflects the logic of progression through the event. In the "Design Academy Reunion" expedition, we tried to more clearly separate the main part of the event from the more difficult part. Now you can decide for yourself whether to stop at the main reward or put in extra effort to get bonus rewards.
