Wheel of Fortune is a simple lucky-spin event available from level 15, where you first choose one of several wheels to suit what you need most right now, and this choice stays fixed for the current run; all wheels share the same top prize and the bonus you unlock after 80 total spins. Each spin uses a token and always gives a prize from one of ten slots, and you start with five free tokens while also being able to claim one free token every 12 hours (up to ten saved at once) or buy extra tokens, choosing whether to spend a free or paid token each time.
As you spin, you earn emeralds that you can spend in the Event Store on buildings and resources; more spins mean more emeralds, additional store sections open after 10, 25, 40, and 50 total spins, and the store remains open for two extra days after the event ends, after which any unspent emeralds expire. You can receive the main prizes either directly from the wheel as a drop while you spin or from the Event Store once you reach 80 total spins, so playing steadily through the event helps you both win prizes from the wheel and unlock more to buy in the store.
Glossary
- Wheel of Fortune (event): A limited-time activity available from level 15 where you spin a prize wheel and receive a reward every time you spin.
- Wheel choice: Before you begin, you select one wheel from several options (for example, Standard, Islands, Expedition, Sands, Bay, or Countryside). Your choice is locked for the current run, so you keep spinning the same wheel until the event ends.
- Shared top prize: No matter which wheel you pick, the main reward and the “80-spins reward” are the same across all wheels in this run. This lets you choose a wheel for its day-to-day items without worrying about missing the top prize.
- Prize slots & guaranteed prize: Each wheel has ten prize slots, and every spin gives a prize. Some rewards can be won once, while others may repeat.
- Tokens (your spins): Tokens are what you use to spin the wheel. You start with five free tokens, can claim one free token every 12 hours (up to 10 saved at once), and can also purchase tokens if you wish.
- Gold Tokens (carryover): If you still have Gold Tokens from a previous Wheel, they do not disappear; they carry over and appear in this event.
- Emeralds (spin currency): Every spin also grants emeralds. You spend emeralds in the Event Store to buy buildings, resources, and other items; the more you spin, the more emeralds you have to spend.
Who can play & how to start
This event is available starting at level 15. To open it, click the event icon on the right side of your main game screen, and the event window will appear.
Choosing a wheel
Choose the wheel that matches what you need most right now, and keep in mind that your choice cannot be changed during this launch.
- Classic: A balanced option with general rewards; a good choice if you are unsure which wheel to pick.
- Islands / Sands / Bay / Countryside: These wheels focus on items for those locations, so pick one if you are actively developing that area.
- Expedition: This wheel includes expedition energy and other items that help you progress in expeditions.
You will see an additional confirmation window to make sure you chose the wheel you want:
Time to spin the wheel!
Tokens
You need tokens to spin the wheel. There are two kinds of tokens: Silver (free) and Gold (paid).
You begin the event with five free tokens already in your balance. After that, you can claim one additional free token every 12 hours. To get them, first click on the "Fortune tokens" icon on the right side of the main screen:
Then, click "Claim":
The game lets you save up to 35 free tokens at a time, so if you are at the limit, you will need to use some before you can claim another. If you want more spins right away, you can also purchase tokens in the same window whenever it is convenient for you.
If you still have any Gold tokens left from a previous Wheel, they do not disappear—those tokens carry over and will be available in this event.
When you press Spin, the game uses the Silver (free) tokens first. Once you have no Silver tokens left, the game will use the Gold ones.
Note: The main reward and the 80-spins reward are the same across all wheel types in a given launch.
Using the tokens & spinning the wheel
Each wheel has ten prize spaces, and every time you spin you are guaranteed to receive one of them—there are no empty results. Some prizes can be won only once during the event, while others may appear several times as you keep playing. There is a number under each prize indicating how many times you can get them.
To take a spin, press the Spin button; the wheel will roll and your prize will be added to your account automatically.
Event Store (spend your emeralds)
Each time you spin the wheel, you also receive emeralds.
You can spend these emeralds in the Event Store to buy buildings, resources, and other helpful items for your city. To access the store, open this tab in the event window:
The more you spin, the more emeralds you collect, which means you can afford better choices in the store.
After the event ends, the Event Store remains open for two additional days so you have time to make your purchases.
When these two days are over, any emeralds you did not spend will expire and will not be converted into other rewards, so be sure to use them in time.
New store sections unlock as your total number of spins grows. A section opens when you reach 10 spins, then additional sections open at 25, 40, and 50 spins. The higher sections usually contain more valuable items.
The exact items you see in the store depend on the wheel you selected at the start. Some offers are the same for all wheels, while others are specific to the wheel you picked.
Main rewards (how you get them)
There are usually two main prizes in this event.
The first can drop directly from the wheel as you spin. You can see it in "The Wheel" tab:
The second unlocks in the Event Store after you reach a total of 80 spins, and at that point you can purchase it with emeralds.
