Train Quest is a four-day event for players level 45 and above, available after you clear the rubble from the train tracks in the City Centre. You manage three trains at once: for each train, open its order list, gather the requested items, and load the cars before the timer runs out; when the timer expires, the train leaves automatically with whatever you managed to load. Every departure gives you points for a simple reward track and for your personal ranking, and the more cars you send filled, the more points you receive.

As you fill the reward track, you claim prizes (and, with the optional Gold Badge, an extra row of prizes), and the event usually includes a special building among the rewards; top performers in the ranking receive time-limited trophy bonuses.

Glossary

  • Train Quest: A time-limited activity for players level 45 and above, available after you clear the rubble from the train tracks in the City Centre; it runs for four days and centers on loading and sending trains to earn rewards.
  • Trains (three at once): You work with three separate trains during the event; each one has its own loading time, so you manage them in parallel to keep your progress moving.
  • Order list: To see what a train needs, click the train’s timer panel; this opens a list of requested items so you can gather and load them.
  • Loading timer & departure: Each train has a countdown for loading; you try to load as much as you can before it ends, and when the timer expires, the train leaves automatically with whatever you managed to put on board.
  • Cars (capacity): At the start, every train has three cars, and you can increase this up to five; more cars mean you can send more goods in a single departure and earn more points at once.
  • Sending trains (what you earn): Each departure grants two kinds of points—event points that move you along the Rewards tab track and rating points that count toward your personal ranking. The points grow with how many cars you send (for example, 1 car gives 1/1 points, while 5 cars give 10/10).
  • Rewards tab (progress track): As you send trains, your progress fills on this tab; the bottom row of prizes is available to everyone, and you claim items by pressing the green button when you have enough points.
  • Gold Badge (optional extra prizes): An add-on that unlocks a second, top row of rewards on the same progress track; these extra prizes are also claimed when you reach the needed totals.
  • Main reward (building): A special building is usually included among the event rewards; its exact stats and look can change from one run of the event to another.
  • High-Power Engine (speed upgrade): An upgrade you install on a specific train to shorten the wait for its next arrival by one hour; it stays on that train until the event ends and can be obtained from the Rewards tab or purchased with spent premium currency, which is not refundable.
  • Extra Train Car (capacity upgrade): An upgrade that adds an additional car to a chosen train (up to a maximum of five), letting you send more goods per departure; it lasts for the whole event and can be claimed from the Rewards tab or bought, with spent premium currency not refundable.
  • Individual rating (personal leaderboard): A ranking that opens after you collect enough rating points; you need 10 rating points to enter, and at the end of the event the top three places receive trophy “Cup stelas” that pay daily bonuses for 16 days.

Requirements & access

This event becomes available when you reach level 45. Before you can begin, you need to clear the rubble from the train tracks in the City Centre so the trains can move and the event window can open. The event lasts for four days, which gives you enough time to play at a comfortable pace and make steady progress.

You can access it via the icon on the right side of the screen.

Basic rules

You have 3 different trains.

Each train has its order. Collect the required items in the city. You can use the "Show" button to be redirected to the building that produces the item you need.

Note that the time to complete the orders is limited: you can see the timer at the top of the event window.

When you have loaded everything you can, press the Send button to dispatch the train; if you do not send it yourself, the timer will eventually run out and the train will depart automatically with whatever cargo you managed to load, and you will keep those points.

Your cars

At the beginning of the event, each train arrives with three cars (wagons) that you can load, and later you can increase this capacity up to a maximum of five cars to send more goods at once.

Every train has its own loading timer, so one train may be ready sooner or later than another. To see what a train needs and to begin loading it, click the small panel that shows that train’s timer; this opens the order list for that train, and you can start placing the requested items into its cars.

What you earn for sending trains

Every time you send a train, you receive two kinds of points. First, you get event points that move you forward on the progress bar in the Rewards tab, where you can claim prizes as you reach each mark. Second, you get rating points that add to your score in the Individual rating (personal leaderboard); as your score grows, you enter the ranking and can improve your position by sending more well-loaded trains.

The number of points you earn depends on how many cars you manage to load before the train leaves. If only one car is loaded, you receive 1 event point and 1 rating point. With two loaded cars, you receive 3 event points and 3 rating points. With three cars, you receive 5 and 5; with four cars, 7 and 7. If you load all five cars, you receive the maximum for one departure: 10 event points and 10 rating points.

Upgrades for your train (optional but powerful)

High-Power Engine (speed upgrade)

This upgrade shortens the waiting time until a train returns by one hour. So if a train would normally come back in four hours, it will return in three hours instead. You can get a High-Power Engine in two ways: claim it as a prize on the Rewards tab when you reach the required milestone, or purchase it for superbucks in the event window.

Each train needs its own engine; when you install an engine on a specific train, it stays on that train for the entire four-day event and keeps reducing that train’s waiting time after every departure. Please note that superbucks spent on engines are not refundable. To install the upgrade, open the engine card and press “Install on Train A,” “Install on Train B,” or “Install on Train C,” depending on which train you want to speed up.

Extra Train Car (capacity upgrade)

This upgrade adds one more car to your train, letting you load and send more goods at once. You can raise a train’s capacity up to a maximum of five cars.

You can get an Extra Train Car in two ways: claim it on the Rewards tab when you reach the required milestone, or purchase it for superbucks in the event window.

After you choose a train and install the upgrade, it stays on that train until the event ends and helps you score more points each time it departs (fully loading more cars brings higher event points and rating points).

Note: Superbucks spent on cars are not refundable.

Rewards tab (progress & Gold Badge)

As you send trains, your progress on the Rewards tab fills step by step. You can find the tab at the top of the event window.

The bottom row of prizes is available to every player; when your progress reaches a prize, simply press the green Claim button to receive it. If you have the optional Gold Badge, a second (top) row of extra rewards becomes active. These top-row prizes are collected in exactly the same way as the bottom-row ones: once your progress reaches the required amount of points or items shown under the prize, you press the green button and the reward is added to your account.

The main reward in this event is usually a special building for your city. Its appearance and the bonuses it provides can change from one run of the event to the next, so the building you see this time may be different in look and value from previous events.

Individual rating (leaderboard)

You enter the tournament after you collect 10 rating points, and you can always check your current points and place on the Ratings tab inside the event window.

At the end of the event, the top three players receive Cup stelas (gold, silver, and bronze) that provide daily bonuses for 16 days; the exact amounts depend on your place and may vary from one run of the event to another.
