Here’s a clear, beginner-friendly glossary of general gaming terms you’ll see in SuperCity across our Help Center. It’s designed to help you feel confident as you play: when an article mentions a word you don’t know, you can look it up here and keep going without confusion.

  • Level: Your overall progress number in the game; it rises as you gain experience from play, and some features unlock only after you reach a certain level. In SuperCity, your level is indicated at the top of the game page inside the blue star.

  • Experience (XP): Points you earn from activities (for example, from certain buildings) that add up toward your next level; when the XP bar fills, your level increases. In the game, Experience is illustrated as a blue star.

  • Energy: A basic resource you spend to perform actions like clearing or collecting; it refills over time, can be topped up by play actions, and is fully restored when you level up.

  • Coins (basic currency): The main money you earn from play and spend on routine needs such as buildings or production.

  • Superbucks: Special paid currency that lets you speed things up or buy optional extras; it can be purchased and sometimes appears as rewards in activities.

  • Quests / Tasks: Step-by-step requests shown in quest lists or on tabs; completing them moves your progress forward and often unlocks new locations or features. In SuperCity, you usually find them on the left side of the screen.

  • Events: Limited-time activities with their own goals, rewards, and rules; the Help Center groups them into sections (for example, Expeditions, Cellar Quests, Wheel of Fortune, Calendar Quests), each with its own how-to. In SuperCity, you usually find them on the right side of the screen.

  • Rating: A ranking list that compares players’ points during an activity; many events ask you to collect a minimum amount before you appear on the list, and top places get extra prizes. In SuperCity, the rating can usually be found in the window of the specific event. Check out the article about the event you are curious about in this Help Center; you can find it using the search bar at the top.
  • Rewards: Prizes you claim as you play—these can be coins, energy, items, or buildings—and many activities show them on a “Rewards” page or track as your points grow.
  • Timers: Visible countdowns that show how long you have to finish a task; when a timer ends, the game moves on automatically.
  • Cooldown (waiting time): A short pause before you can start the next similar action, such as after finishing or rejecting a timed task; most often, you can skip this wait with Superbucks.
  • Storage: A place where your decors or buildings are kept when not placed on the map.

  • Inventory: A place where all your other items are stored.

  • Buildings: Objects you place in your city that can produce income, XP, or items on a schedule.
  • Decorations: Visual items that make your city look nicer; they usually do not produce coins or XP but help with layout and style.
  • Production / Crafting: Turning basic resources into higher-value items by using workshops or facilities; quest guides often list which building makes which item and how many you need.
  • Neighbors / Friends: Other players you can visit for small benefits like help actions or extra energy; many tips recommend being active with friends to progress faster.

  • Clubs: Groups of players who play together for shared goals and rankings; club screens often show daily, weekly, or monthly ratings and let you view member details.

  • Map / Locations: Different areas you unlock as you advance; quest sections in the Help Center explain requirements and what each area contains.
  • Keys & Chests (containers): Locked rewards you open with a specific item (a key) or other condition; they usually hold useful resources to help with quests or events.
