Treasure Hunt is a 6-day event for players level 15 and above. On the game field you will see many closed squares. You use tools (a Shovel or a Tractor) to dig them open. Each square hides a reward — coins, prizes, or sometimes special items. While digging, you collect Explorer’s Coins that can be spent in the event store on useful items and buildings. The main goal is to find Magic Keys hidden on the field and exchange them for big rewards. After the event ends, the store stays open for 2 extra days so you can spend your coins.
Glossary
- Playing field (grid): the game board with closed squares (cells) that you open one by one. Each opened cell gives a reward once.
- Cell (simple / complex): simple cells open with one dig. Complex cells need several digs to open fully. Keys drop only from simple cells.
- Shovel: the basic tool that opens one cell at a time. You will use it most of the time.
- Tractor: a stronger tool that opens several neighboring cells at once; best used on complex cells.
- Shovel capacity (cap): you can store up to 35 shovels. If you reach 35, use some shovels before you can collect more.
- Discount coupon: a coupon you can find while digging. It works for 12 hours and can be used one time to lower the price of shovel offers.
- Explorer’s Coins: special coins you get from opened cells. You spend them only in the event store to buy quest items, buildings, decorations, superbucks, and more.
- Treasures tab (event store): the store for Explorer’s Coins. The left side shows items needed for current quests; the right side shows other rewards. After the event ends, the store stays open 2 more days; then any leftover coins are automatically turned into useful items.
- Magic Key: a special key hidden on each field. When you find it, you can exchange it for one of the two main event rewards. If you do not exchange the key before the event ends, it turns into 750 Lucky Cards.
- Main rewards: the two top prizes of the event that you claim by exchanging a Magic Key.
- Field refresh: your field changes to a new one either after you find a Magic Key (you press the button) or after you open all cells (it refreshes automatically).
- Chest (third key chest): if you get a third Magic Key, you can open a chest with 750 Lucky Cards instead of choosing a building.
- Lucky Cards: a resource you can get from keys or auto-conversion. You exchange Lucky Cards for blueprints in the blueprint shop.
- Blueprint shop: a shop where you trade Lucky Cards for building blueprints.
- Metal Detector: a helper that marks complex cells so you can plan Tractor digs and save shovels.
- Crystals: short-lived bonuses that appear on the field; tap them before the 90-second timer runs out to claim them.
Requirements & how to start
This event becomes available when you reach level 15. Each run lasts six days, which gives you enough time to play at a comfortable pace. To enter, look at the right side of your main game screen, find the Treasure Hunt icon in the menu, and click it; the event window will open and show you everything you need to begin.
The playing field (how digging works)
You will see a grid of cells.
Dig cells using tools (Shovel or Tractor) on the right side of the window.
Select a tool, then click a cell.
Each opened cell gives a reward (one time per cell). Already opened cells are visibly marked.
Simple vs. complex cells
Simple cells open after one dig and give the reward immediately.
Complex cells show a chest after the first dig and require a second dig for the reward.
Time-limited crystals
Sometimes a crystal appears on the field with a visible reward inside.
Dig it with a Shovel / Tractor to claim; otherwise, it disappears in approximately 90 seconds. The reward will be lost.
Your tools
Shovel
Digs 1 cell.
Tractor
Digs 4 cells at once. If its area overlaps already opened cells, those cells are refunded as shovels.
Metal Detector
Checks a 3×3 area (9 squares) for complex cells (those with hidden chests). Complex cells in the scanned area are marked with a cross; they still need two digs to claim the reward.
Getting and managing shovels
You start with 10 shovels. You can buy more shovels in a separate shop.
In the shop, you can also claim 1 free shovel every 8 hours (up to 3 per 24 hours).
The maximum number of free shovels you can have is 35. If you already have 35 shovels, you need to use some of them before you can get more. After your number goes below 35, you will be able to collect new shovels again. You can check the number of shovels on the right side of the field:
Discount coupons
While you are digging, you may find a discount coupon on the field.
When you click the green OK button to collect it, it becomes active and a 12-hour timer starts. During these 12 hours, you can use the coupon one time to reduce the price of shovel offers in the shop. If you do not use the coupon before the 12 hours end, it will expire and you will not be able to use it.
Explorer’s Coins & the event store
Among the rewards you can receive from clearing tiles, there are also Explorer’s Coins.
Spend them in the Treasures tab to buy quest items, buildings, decorations, superbucks, and more.
The Treasure tab has two sides.
On the left side, you will see items that you may need to complete your current quests; this list changes from time to time, so it is worth checking again later.
On the right side, you will see other rewards that you can buy using your Explorer’s Coins earned while digging.
After the Treasure Hunt ends, the Treasure tab stays open for two more days so you can spend any remaining Explorer’s Coins. During these two days, you can still buy items in the store as usual. When the two days are over, the store closes. Any Explorer’s Coins you still have are automatically exchanged for useful items, such as Lucky Cards and regular Energy. You do not need to do anything for this exchange. If you want to choose exactly what to get, please spend your coins before the store closes.
Main rewards & Magic Keys
Your field contains one Magic key. Keep digging to find it.
Magic keys drop only from simple cells. When you get a Magic Key, you can exchange it for one of the two main rewards in the event.
You can refresh to a new field in two ways:
- After finding a Magic key, the message will appear, offering to go a new field. Press the button that appears if you want to go to a new field right away. This will cause you to lose the rewards from the unopened cells, so do not press it if you want to find them first.
- After opening all cells, the field refreshes automatically.
If you do not exchange your Magic key for a reward before the event ends, the key will be automatically turned into 750 Lucky Cards. This automatic exchange requires no action from you, but it means you will not be able to choose a building as your reward anymore.
The third Magic Key can be used to open a chest with 750 Lucky Cards, which you can then exchange for blueprints in the blueprint shop.
